Sounds pretty odd. I find mine is quite comfortable at 55 mph.

A top gear with a bigger ratio to act as an 'overdrive' would be nice.

I sometimes get a bit of oil there also, expecially after a long ride on the highway. I think I've read that this is pretty normal - just don't forget to regularly check your oil level.
